Bad American Accents By British People, According To Other British People [via Doree]
The funny thing about that last one is that it included Ian McShane as Al Swearengen in Deadwood. This makes no sense because his character is often referred to as “the limey cocksucker.” Do British people not know that we call them that? Those stupid limey cocksuckers.

Reading through that list of British actors, I’m not so sure that most British people know what an American accent is supposed to sound like. Dominic West actually has a pretty decent accent; so much so that I had to do a doubletake when I realized he was British.
Star in one more kids movie, Ian, and I’m breaking every Deadwood DVD. That includes copies that belong to me as well as those owned by everyone else.
