Google Maps Explains The Differences Between Chicago And New York

I have been asked to explain the differences between Chicago and New York, having lived in both for a number of years. I am asked this more frequently by people from Chicago. I have struggled to quickly and accurately illustrate the fundamental difference in a way that will be meaningful for Chicagoans, and finally, Google Maps “traffic” function has provided the answer.
